Did you know that Hvar is the sunniest of all the islands in the Adriatic Sea? Embark with us on a tour to the city of Hvar and its neighboring Pakleni islands.
Hvar is an ancient town with a rich history on the island in the Croatian Adriatic Sea that bears the same name. The architecture, nature, and climate will make you feel like you are in a Mediterranean fairy-tale that reignites a spark in your soul! Just imagine the sight of a promenade bordered by a row of palm trees and seven centuries old walls overtopped by the fortresses, once used for protecting Hvar.
Then, there is the piazza, a square generally considered one the most beautiful in Dalmatia, dominated by St. Stephen's Cathedral, surrounded by the palaces of Groda and by the cascading stone-built houses of Burag.
Oh, it is something that will surely strike upon you! Our advice to you is to definitely visit the fortress Fortica (Spanjola), the cathedral of Hvar, the theatre of Hvar (established in 1612) with the arsenal, and the Franciscan monastery. The next stop will be the Pakleni Islands, commonly known as Paklinski Islands (original name).
The Pakleni Islands are a stunning chain of wooded isles that sit just off Hvar town. Pakleni Islands literally translates to Hell Islands, but are nothing like hell, trust us. Heavenly picturesque coves, hidden beaches, stunning restaurants, and its fair share of FKK beaches have long been a sanctuary for travelers who’ve enjoyed them as part of our tour.
You will be also visiting Palmižana, a famous place located on the Islands, where you can relax and have a nice cocktail on the beach while listening to music from the local bars that are open during the season or you can just jump into the sea!
This is the location where we usually settle for lunch since there are restaurants that offer some of the best local meals and freshly-hatched fish. This tour has something to offer for everyone and it's quite relaxing since it is not more than 1-hour drive to Hvar. Our crew will make sure you have a special time and that you learn and see as much as possible!
